Apothecary Jars….

We’re loving these vintage inspired jars, we stock many in different shapes and sizes. Some with lids and some without….

We completed a large kitchen in a Victorian property in East London at the end of last year. The client wanted to keep the theme traditional and in keeping with the house, but they wanted to add something unique and different at the same time. Her husband also told us this was the fourth time they had changed the kitchen design in the last 5 years. We decided to add many large apothecary jars around the kitchen, with the idea she could change the contents when she fancied a change without having to radically change the design.

The couple were in touch not so long ago about starting a new project on there bathroom with the same idea in mind. We were really pleased to hear they were still happy with the kitchen and have no plans to change it! It’s always re-assuring when a client returns….we know we have them sussed!

Jars such as these can be moved around the home and used for many purposes. We are planning a Christmas theme for a prestigious Kitchen maker and using these jars to fill with tinsel and Christmas baubles. We cant wait to begin this project Christmas theme’s allow all the glitter and sparkle to make its grand appearance and these clear jars are a perfect way to showcase our ideas without the mess that tinsel can make.Another idea is to use these as vase, stems can be just as attractive a flowers themselves. We tend to use bamboo and deep stem shoots and tie the base with brown cord string for a shabby chic look.
